MAHLER CHAMBER SOLOISTS AT LIMELIGHT

In October 2011, seven MCO musicians make an appearance at the series Limelight - Classical Music in a Rock'n'Roll Setting at the "100 club" in London. Under the label of MCO Soloist the musicians of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra form smaller ensembles of various sizes on a regular basis in order to intensify what they consider to be the fundamental principles of their orchestra: fine-tuned listening and communicating in a group of alert and independent musical personalities. Listen here how the MCO musicians May Kunstovny and Michael Brooks Reid found playing for Limelight - and how the audience responded to their live set.

Podcast: MCO-portrait, GEO saison //
In June 2009, two journalists from the magazine GEO accompanied the MCO to the Festival of North Norway in Harstad. The article appeared in the June 2010 issue of GEO SAISON. It has also been read by a speaker and recorded as a podcast (in German), which can be heard and downloaded here:
