Every kind of support helps the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Your assistance, financial or otherwise, could take one of these forms:
- a donation, either monetary or material, for any amount - your membership in the MCO Friends - your membership in the MCO Explorers - your membership in the MCO Patrons - a Friends membership for someone close to you - an inheritance or bequest - your personally designed support, such as a request for donations to the MCO instead of birthday gifts.
FRIENDS CIRCLE Since the founding of the MCO Membership Circle in 2000, Friends from more than 15 nations have supported the orchestra and accompanied it on its tours. Their involvement supports the MCO ideologically and financially, and makes purchases - from instruments to sheet music for the orchestra - possible.
In the MCO's membership circle, you can make a big difference even with a small donation. As a Friend, you are regularly informed of the MCO's various developments. You can experience music-making up close in rehearsals and, at periodic Friends Meetings, exchange ideas with other Friends from all over the world. EXPLORER CIRCLE The Explorer Circle is directed towards the upcoming generation of supporters of the arts. Like the musicians of the MCO, members of the Explorer Circle represent mobility and internationalism. With their readiness to take on the responsibility for the promotion of first-class music projects, Explorer Circle members pave the way particularly for the realization of the orchestra's avant-garde and crossover projects.
As a member of the Explorer Circle, you are offered individual pre-concert introductions and benefit from the diverse networking opportunities that come with the MCO's concerts around the world. You are also invited to take part in an annual Explorer Weekend held in various cities across Europe. During the Explorer Weekend, we offer unique opportunities for you to attend rehearsals and concerts, to meet MCO musicians and, upon request, to participate in chamber music workshops with our musicians. Benefits: In addition to the above: individual concert introductions given by the orchestra's General Manager or a musician of the MCO, annual Explorer Weekend with MCO musicians at various locations across Europe, including the opportunity to make music together (childcare available upon request), assistance with ticket purchases, rehearsal visits, acknowledgement on the MCO website.

PATRONS CIRCLE The Patrons Circle brings together those who are interested in sustained support of strategically important projects. With a substantial donation, they provide the MCO Foundation and the orchestra with a secure basis for long-term planning.
With your financial support, guidance and networks, you can actively contribute to the strengthening and development of the unique MCO model. The Patrons Circle supports the orchestra's major projects. While most of these concerts are not financed from fees alone, they are nonetheless greatly significant to the orchestra's profile.
As a Patron, you enjoy many exclusive offers, including individual previews - given by the General Manager - to the season, or the opportunity to receive instrumental instruction from an MCO musician upon request.
