PROJECTS
Mette Tjaerby-Korneliusen // 2nd Violin

When and where was your first concert with the MCO?
My first concert with the MCO was in Landshut in 1997.

What is your most memorable moment with the orchestra?
Our first long Don Giovanni-project had many special moments, the orchestra "grew up" with that.

The most inspiring composer:
Brahms.

The first piece of music you fell in love with:
Bach double-concerto for two violins at the age of 6!

What makes a “perfect” concert?
When special moments appears in interaction with the other musicians, the audience or the conductor.

Mette Tjaerby Korneliusen was born in Denmark in 1975. With her husband and her two children she now lives in Hamburg, where she is engaged at the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra.
