A nap, absolutely!!

Cello, French Horn, or, even better: opera singer.

Astrophysicist.

Finding a flat in Paris!!!

Biography //

Delphine Tissot (Viola) first studied the violin at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de
Paris with Jean Lenert and Pierre Doukan from 1992 until 1998. She continued her studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in the viola class of Bruno Pasquier.

Her orchestral experiences started in 1996 with the
European Community Youth Orchestra (1996-1997) and the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, where she was Co-Principal and Principal Viola from 1998 to 2000.Delphine Tissot has been an extra player at the Berliner Philharmonic from 1999 until 2001, where she played concerts, recordings and tours under Claudio Abbado, Lorin Maazel, Seiji Ozawa, Simon Rattle and Daniel Barenboim. Since 1999 she has been performing regularly at the Opéra National de Paris as an extra player.

In 2003, Delphine Tissot became a member of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Additionally, she performs regularly with Cadaques Orchestra and she also played at the BBC Symphony Orchestra (2004-2005) and as Assistant Principal Viola at the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra (2006-2008).
Since 2009 she has also played as a principal guest with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra and the orchestra ensemble Kanazawa in Japan.
