Julien Berthoud joined the MCO Finance and Administration department in April 2010. He is responsible for general financial tasks.

Born in France, Julien travelled to Germany for the first time in 2000 as an exchange student in the Erasmus program, spending a year in Leipzig as part of his studies of political science. His time in Germany made a lasting impression on him and resulted in many later visits to the country. After various internships in Kiel and Berlin, Julien completed his Masters in European Arts Management in Paris and soon after took on the job of coordinating the Association of French Documentary Filmmakers.

After four enjoyable years in Paris, he finally gave into Berlin’s magnetic pull and came to the MCO, where he is happy to have an opportunity to explore another fact of his spectrum of interests.
