The Swedish soprano Nina Stemme is today in great demand at all major opera houses worldwide. Recent highlights were her role debuts of Arabella in Gothenburg and of Ariadne at Geneva Opera, her phenomenal Sieglinde and Brünnhilde/SIEGFRIED in the new RING at Vienna State Opera as well as her role debut of SALOME at Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona.

Nina Stemme, who was appointed Swedish Royal Court Singer in 2006, is a member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Music. In June 2008, she was awarded with the medal “Litteris et Artibus” by H. M. the King of Sweden.
